About the Role
Join our infrastructure team to build the high-performance trading systems that power Rapidtrade. You'll work on mission-critical systems where reliability and speed are paramount, using Rust to push the boundaries of what's possible.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency trading systems in Rust
- Build and maintain APIs handling millions of requests per second
- Develop orderbook matching engines and execution systems
- Optimize system performance and reduce latency across the stack
- Implement robust error handling and fault tolerance mechanisms
- Contribute to our internal Rust libraries and tooling
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience
- 2+ years of production Rust experience
- Strong understanding of systems programming and memory management
- Experience with async programming (tokio, async-std)
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP, WebSocket, gRPC)
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar)
Nice to Have
- Experience with trading systems or financial infrastructure
- Knowledge of market microstructure
- Contributions to the Rust ecosystem
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
